Funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this grant is to address unhealthy behavior by at-risk youth by providing them with opportunities to lead more healthy lifestyles.
Eligibility: Institutions of higher education/learning or community colleges with a documented history of working in minority communities and tribal colleges. The grant requires partnerships with K-12 or nonprofit youth-serving organizations.Deadline: Sept. 3, 2009
Amount: 12 grants ranging from $275,000 to $300,000 per year for three years.
